Theme: Anti-Body Shaming

Write-up: Seeing that many youths are being influenced by societal beauty standards, the Sengkang Secondary Guides embarked on an Instagram campaign to promote body positivity. Their posts included a variety of hand-drawn images and quotes about embracing different body types and developing self-confidence. Additionally, they posted responses from a few schoolmates on their thoughts about body insecurities and standards of beauty. Through their online content, the Guides hoped to create an impact on their followers by highlighting that self-love is key and that individuals should show kindness to all instead of dismissing people based on how they look.
