What is Kindness Badge Award?

  • The Kindness Badge is a mark of distinction awarded to students of Uniformed Groups who have completed tasks or projects that promote kindness and graciousness amongst their peers, within their schools, and to their families and communities. Achieving this badge identifies them as Ambassadors of Kindness. It is awarded by the Singapore Kindness Movement to students who have demonstrated their passion and commitment to fostering a gracious society.

This sounds interesting! How do I sign up?

  • Please direct your Teacher-in-charge to this page to register! However, do note that only participating Uniformed Groups (listed on the bottom of the Home Page) will be able to participate at this moment.
  • If you’re a teacher from participating Uniformed Groups and your students have expressed interest, please refer to the Registration tab for more information.
  • Do note to collect your handbooks from your unit’s HQ before the workshop!

Where do I register for the KBA Bronze Badge - The Good Vibes Workshop?

Oh no. My Uniformed Group is not listed. Can I still sign up?

  • Only participating Uniformed Groups are able to sign up for the Kindness Badge Award at this moment. If you have a strong desire to participate, please approach your Teacher-in-charge; teachers, do inform your respective UG HQ’s of the students’ interest!

If I do not apply for Seed Kindness Fund, can I still attain the Kindness Badge?

  • Most definitely! However, do consider the Seed Kindness Fund as it was made for students and to further support your project to attain a wider reach!

What are the projects we can work on?

Can projects be repeated?

  • We would like to encourage students to initiate a variety of projects based on the community’s needs which may be different from their seniors. Repeated projects’ proposals will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to get in touch with us if you would like to clarify this!

I have not attained my Bronze Badge. Can I work on my Gold Badge?

  • The Badge scheme is progressive. We recommend that you complete the Bronze badge before you start on your Gold badge!
