Carnival Stall at Communal Lunch

Aim:
Engage the elderly living in the area and show their care.

Why:
Important to involve the elderly in community activities.

Where:
Queenstown neighbourhood.

What:
Mini bowling alley was put together at a communal lunch to engage the elderly.

How:
Members of the Lion Befrienders and Redhill Gardens Rc were also invited to participate in the activity such that it was more fun for all.

Lend a helping hand to those at the elderly home.

Why:
Encourage fellow scouts and individuals to do their part in contributing to society.

Where:
St Andrew’s Nursing Home (Queenstown).

What:
Assisted in the cleaning of the elderly home.

How:
Help to arrange furniture, ranging from couches, chairs to carts, and set up venues in preparation for the upcoming Nurses’ Day.
