Uniformed Group: Scouts – Group B

Theme: Foreigner-Local Integration

Recognising that more can be done to improve integration and interaction between foreigners and Singaporeans, the students decided to focus their Instagram campaign on ways in which locals can be more welcoming.  They shared that this could be done by expressing our gratitude towards foreigners and speaking up when someone around us makes negative remarks about migrant workers, for example. Interestingly, this group also spoke to a few of their non-Singaporean fellow Scouts to gather their thoughts on this topic and incorporated them into the project.
