Project Smiles

“Being kinder or simply nicer to those around us can be infectious. If we can inculcate these values into the young of our society, we will be heading in the right direction as a nation.”

Aim:
Encourage the public to appreciate the dedication and effort done by cleaners working in the hawker centres

Why:
Wanted to make Singapore a kinder place, with a greater sense of appreciation for others, especially those who are overlooked.

Where:
Kovan Hawker Centre

What:
The team from HQ

How:
Appreciation notes for the cleaners were collected in a jar and given to the cleaners. The team gave out smiley face stickers and badges to the public and hawkers to remind them that smiling can also be a form of appreciation.
