Aim:
Encourage more to clear their own trays after eating.

Why:
Inculcate civic-mindedness and greater consideration for others.

Where:
Tampines Mart Kopitiam.

What:
Pledges to support the movement and appreciation notes for the cleaners were collected.

How:
“Kindness Jars” with notes tied to it to remind patrons to clear their trays after dining were placed on the tables in the hawker centre.

Why Don't We Just Clean

“Kindness happens, when you do a service which benefits others, from the bottom of your heart.”

Aim:
Remind patrons to show appreciation to cleaners.

Why:
Lessen the burden of the cleaners during the busy periods (e.g. lunch hour) and enable faster turnover of tables (greater consideration of others).

Where:
Tampines Mart Kopitiam.

What:
Correct the misconception that the tray-return habit deprives cleaners of their job.

How:
Help cleaners return used cutleries and trays and cleaned the tables of debris.
