Appreciating the Foreign Workers

Aim:
Remind the public to be empathetic of situations and to spread kindness.

Why:
Many people might take those around them for granted.

Where:
Public spaces around Orchard Road.

What:
Encouraged the public to write messages for strangers on post-it notes; in exchange for a note, they had to write for another. Handed out cards with handwritten quotes and images to motivate people to take better care of themselves in stressful situations and busy lifestyles.

How:
Highlighted challenges faced by foreign construction workers during community integration, and encouraged shoppers to write words of encouragement to show appreciation for their hard work.
