Write-up: Recognising that dining at hawker centres is an integral part of Singaporeans’ lifestyle, the NCC Air cadets of ACSI set out to start a campaign to improve etiquette at hawker centres. Although they could not carry out face-to-face outreach due to social distancing measures, they still managed to post informative and interactive content on Instagram to encourage the public to return their trays, clean up after their meals and not reserve seats at hawker centres. By nudging patrons to exhibit more responsible and considerate behaviours, their campaign aimed to make Singapore’s hawker culture more pleasant for all.
