Aim:
Inspire greater tolerance for patients diagnosed with dementia.

Why:
Dementia is a condition which affects people mentally and emotionally; patients have difficulties expressing themselves, which causes misunderstandings.

Where:
Yong En Care Centre’s Dementia Day Care Service (DDCS) in Chinatown.

What:
Interacting with 40 residents, they found that patience is key in engaging dementia patients.

How:
Conducted a series of activities to encourage care and kindness for people diagnosed with dementia.
